SPOILED HATCHABLE EGGS BUG FIXED SIMS 4

I FOUND THE SOLUTION FOR SPOILED HATCHABLE EGGS

If you own the Sims 4 pack Cottage Living and your sims have a chicken coop, you may have experienced the bug where your hatchable eggs spoil. As someone who has experienced it twenty times So far, I haven't seen any total fixes on the internet, but I finally figured it out, so if you need it, here is the solution:

 1. Get a hatchable egg. You need a hen and a rooster and eventually you will get a hatchable egg, but to speed up the process, you can get a flirty treat from the garden stall in the Henford-on-Bagley town square or you can make it with a bag of sugar and a jar of strawberry jam.

 2. When you get a hatchable egg, incubate it in the coop by either clicking on the egg in your inventory and click "incubate in coop" or just drag the egg into the coop.

 3. This is when the bug usually happen. The egg is supposed to hatch in two days or less, but the bug is that after some time the eggs spoil in the coop. To prevent this, click on a hen and select the option "send (insert name here) to coop". The hen will now sit on the egg, preventing the egg from spoiling as well as improving the quality of the egg and lessening the time it will take for the egg to hatch. I think that you only have to do that once for the whole incubation period and the hen will come back to sit on the egg throughout that time.

4.When the egg is ready to hatch, you'll get a notification and you will be able to hatch the egg.

I will be posting a few more tips and tricks in the sims so keep looking. I hope this is useful and that it works in your game too!
